Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country on the Balkan Peninsula in southeastern Europe. In the countryside there are medieval villages, rivers and lakes, as well as the impervious Dinaric Alps. In the capital Sarajevo, the historic Baščaršija district is well preserved, with distinctive buildings such as the 16th century Gazi Husrev-bey mosque. On the Latin bridge, from the Ottoman era, the assassination of Archduke Francesco Ferdinando took place, which triggered the First World War.
Honduras is a Central American nation washed by the Caribbean Sea in the north and the Pacific Ocean in the south. In the tropical forest near Guatemala there is the ancient Mayan ceremonial site of Copán where hieroglyphics engraved in the rock and numerous stele, tall stone monuments are preserved. In the Caribbean Sea are the Islas de la Bahía, a famous diving site which is part of the 1000 km long Mesoamerican reef.
Hungary is a landlocked Central European country. Its capital, Budapest, is cut in two by the Danube River and is characterized by historic buildings such as the medieval Buda Castle, which stands on a hill, the majestic neoclassical buildings along Andrássy Street in Pest and the Chain Bridge, dating back to Nineteenth century. The habit of attending spas, such as those of Lake Hévíz, derives from the Turkish and Roman cultural heritage.
