La Réunion, a French department in the Indian Ocean, is known for its volcanic hinterland covered by rainforest, beaches and coral reefs. The most emblematic place is the Piton de la Fournaise, an active volcano 2632 meters high that can be climbed. Other destinations that can be climbed are the Piton des Neiges, a large extinct volcano, and the three calderas of Réunion, natural amphitheatres formed by collapsed volcanoes.

Romania is a country in southeastern Europe known for the forests of Transylvania, a region surrounded by the Carpathian mountains. Romania includes well-preserved medieval towns such as Sighişoara and numerous churches and castles, including that of Bran, built on the rock and for a long time associated with the legend of Dracula. Bucharest, the capital of Romania, is home to the huge Palatul Parlamentului, the communist-era Parliament building.

Rwanda, formerly Ruanda, officially the Republic of Rwanda, is a country in Central Africa and one of the smallest countries on the African mainland, and its capital city is Kigali. Located a few degrees south of the Equator, Rwanda is bordered by Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
